Hi Samantha, my name is Michael Galvin from Glasgow and I work in the Scottish film and television industry. About six months ago I went to a special screening of a new Scottish feature film which was produced by an actor/producer from Paisley called Tam Toye. He turned out to be a really nice guy and he gave me a copy of one of your books to read. It was ‘Into The Deep’ and I thought it was fantastic. So fantastic that I have now read ‘On Dublin Street’, ‘Down London Road’ and ‘Until Fountain Bridge’ as well. Your books are amazing and I don’t agree with what some critics say that they are mainly for women. Both male and female can enjoy these splendid works and I can’t wait until ‘Echoes Of Scotland Street’ comes out. I thank you so much for the great entertainment you have given us all and I have thanked Tam Toye a hundred times for putting me onto your work. If he hadn’t given me a copy of ‘Into The Deep’ I may never have discovered you! Tam did a great Scottish sci-fi film called ‘Night Is Day’ which was set in Glasgow and I watched it on DVD last night. Isn’t it amazing how much talent we have in Scotland?
