  1. Hi Samantha, my name is Michael Galvin from Glasgow and I work in the Scottish film and television industry. About six months ago I went to a special screening of a new Scottish feature film which was produced by an actor/producer from Paisley called Tam Toye. He turned out to be a really nice guy and he gave me a copy of one of your books to read. It was ‘Into The Deep’ and I thought it was fantastic. So fantastic that I have now read ‘On Dublin Street’, ‘Down London Road’ and ‘Until Fountain Bridge’ as well. Your books are amazing and I don’t agree with what some critics say that they are mainly for women. Both male and female can enjoy these splendid works and I can’t wait until ‘Echoes Of Scotland Street’ comes out. I thank you so much for the great entertainment you have given us all and I have thanked Tam Toye a hundred times for putting me onto your work. If he hadn’t given me a copy of ‘Into The Deep’ I may never have discovered you! Tam did a great Scottish sci-fi film called ‘Night Is Day’ which was set in Glasgow and I watched it on DVD last night. Isn’t it amazing how much talent we have in Scotland?

  2. Thanks so much, Michael! And to Tam for giving you ITD. I’m delighted you’re enjoying my books and so appreciate you taking time to let me know.
And yes, we have an amazing amount of talent here in Scotland 🙂
